City Council requested Jakarta Empowerment Child Protection and Population Control (PPAPP) Dept. to intensify socialization of anti-violence against women and children .

"Based on report we have received, number of violence cases has increased," said Veri Yonnevil, City Council Commission E Secretary, Monday (12/18).
According to him, PPAPP Dept. needs to increase some preventive ways to suppress the number. Such as intensifying anti-violence against women and children socialization at RT and RW level.

He also encourages PPAPP Dept. to utilize Children-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA) as community center.
